Arcane Knowledge Group works at the intersection of clinical practice and applied technology — advising on and building systems for prehospital, austere, and resource-limited medicine. Our work spans AI clinical decision support, advanced clinical program development, and the operational realities of delivering care where connectivity, equipment, and backup cannot be taken for granted.
Every recommendation we make is grounded in current field practice. The principals hold active clinical credentials and test what they advise on — in rescue environments, on deployments, and in live EMS systems.

Evidence-based audits of deployed AI systems. Findings are drawn from the system's own production logs and verified against the running code, and remediation ships every fix with a regression test that keeps it fixed. Deliverables include a tiered findings report, an owner-approved implementation plan, and a test suite the client keeps.

Andrew is an austere and operational medicine specialist with more than twenty-five years in prehospital critical care, rescue medicine, and high-risk medical operations. He has written software for as long as he has run calls, and that systems background runs underneath the clinical work.
He is completing a Master of Science in Austere Critical Care at the College of Remote and Offshore Medicine Foundation and is board certified as a Flight Paramedic and Wilderness Paramedic. His career spans two decades in a high-volume urban EMS system, including special operations, clinical program development, and department-wide education leadership. His graduate research examines AI clinical decision support in austere systems — how these tools remain safe, usable, and trusted where connectivity, power, and oversight cannot be assumed. He founded the AI in Austere Medicine Project, an open-source research initiative, and serves on the Wilderness Medical Society's Artificial Intelligence Committee as an Edge AI Architect.
He writes the architecture and runs the call.

Kendra is a trauma clinical data analyst and nurse educator with more than twenty years in emergency care. She began as a paramedic before moving to the emergency department, where she spent a decade as an ER nurse in a major health system. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing in nursing education, has been a Certified Emergency Nurse since 2015, and is a registered nurse licensed in Texas.
She serves as Clinical Data Analyst for Trauma Services at a Level I academic trauma center, following a role as its trauma educator. She collects and structures trauma registry data, builds the reporting and dashboards that trauma leadership works from, and supports TQIP reporting, trauma center verification, performance improvement projects, and published research. Her work sits where AKG's does: in the space between clinical practice and the data systems that measure it — registry quality, outcomes measurement, and turning trauma data into decisions that change care.
As an educator she has served as a TNCC course director and ran the annual trauma conference at a Level I trauma center — program development, speaker recruitment, and continuing education accreditation — alongside nursing curriculum development and clinical instruction.
